Project Description:

Project nickname: White Harmony

Client: Jayne & Paul

Project: Kitchen

Range: Second Nature Hunton Handleless

Location: SW20 - Wimbledon

Year: 2023

Project Overview:

Our team undertook a comprehensive redesign of the rear section of the house, seamlessly extending the kitchen to create an open and practical layout, discreetly incorporating a utility area and a toilet. The extension boasts expansive panoramic sliding doors, providing uninterrupted views of the beautifully landscaped garden.

Design Decisions:

The loft conversion and rear kitchen extension seamlessly blend contemporary elements with the inherent charm and character of the original house. Utilising our contemporary handleless Hunton door range with white rails, our designers achieved a harmonious fusion of modern and traditional aesthetics. The addition of decorative cornice further enhances the kitchen's traditional feel. The brushed brass tap adds a touch of elegance, elevating the white cabinetry while harmonising with the warm tones of the wooden flooring. The 30mm Quartz Absolute Marbled White countertop expands the kitchen space while inviting closer inspection of its meticulously marbled details.

Challenges Encountered:

Though the kitchen design followed a clear trajectory, our goal was to integrate subtle pops of colour without disrupting the clean, white aesthetic.
