Steam cooking is gentle way of preparing food such as vegetables, fish and meat using steam. The steam is heated to temperatures between 30 and 100 degrees. As the food is cooked or blanched without any fat, most of the vitamins and minerals are preserved. When steaming food, it is placed on a large, perforated stainless steel tray, surrounded by hot steam which cooks food evenly. In principle, anything you can boil can also be steamed, i.e. all vegetables from asparagus to spinach, sides such as rice and potatoes, desserts such as yeast dumplings, as well as many types of fish and meat. The BORA X BO makes steam cooking as easy as pie. Check out this new appliance on our web-shop, Click here.
