Project Description
Project nickname: Efficient Elegance
Client: Indianna
Project: Kitchen
Range: 1909 Slab
Location: N10 - Barnet
Year: 2023
Project Overview:
The kitchen extension seamlessly combines sophistication with practicality, featuring high-end appliances and streamlined cabinetry. It's a culinary enthusiast's haven, tailored for both cooking and entertaining guests.
Design Details:
The Copse Green exterior colour of the kitchen connects the indoor space with the outdoors through French Crittal doors, offering views of the beautifully landscaped garden. To complement the warm hue of the Natural Davos Oak internal cabinet finish, we opted for brushed brass knurled handles. Indianna envisioned a spacious, modern culinary environment with integrated storage solutions, achieved through German-made Kesseböhmer pull-out larders and custom cutlery inserts. Initially, standard base end panels were planned for the island, but our team suggested incorporating a waterfall edge with the 20mm Calacatta Silver Quartz worktop, brightening the space and elevating its luxurious ambiance.
Challenges Faced:
A primary challenge of this project was maximising functionality within a confined space while meeting the client's preferences for a contemporary kitchen. We overcome this hurdle by introducing an island, facilitating efficient food preparation and incorporating a granite sink and dishwasher area. The island emerged as the focal point, seamlessly blending thoughtful design with practical features.
